I already have a domain or website. Can I keep it?
Yes. Keeping the domain your clients already know is the best path, and the switch can happen without the site going offline.
Domain
With access to the account where the domain is registered, I change only the settings needed to point it to the new hosting. The domain stays with the same registrar and under the same owner.
If you use email on the domain, such as hello@yourcompany.com, the email settings are kept, so no message gets lost during the switch.
Old website
Old page URLs are redirected to the matching pages on the new site. Saved links keep working and the rankings you have earned on Google are preserved.
