Do you maintain existing systems?

Yes. A large part of development is looking after systems already in use, and that is part of my daily work with Laravel applications, websites and Flutter apps in production.

How it starts

Before changing anything, I review the code, the database structure and the environment the system runs in, to understand the risks and what needs attention first.

Fixes and improvements

Bug fixes, performance improvements, new features and integrations, always careful not to break what already works.

Legacy code and upgrades

Refactoring old code, upgrading PHP, Laravel and dependencies, and organizing the project so future changes are faster and safer.

Systems built by others

I also take over systems built by other developers or agencies. In those cases the initial review matters even more.
