Starting point
Kolosso Café had Instagram, a PDF menu and a first static HTML version of the site. The proposal was a website that felt like the shop itself and answered what people coming from Google want to know: what they serve, how much it costs, whether it is open and how to get there.

How we built it
Identity from print
Colors, illustrations and tone came from the shop’s physical menu, so the site and the counter feel like the same place.
The menu as a single source
The PDF became a data file. Home page highlights read their prices from it, so one change updates the whole site.
Open now
The status is computed in the visitor’s browser, with kitchen hours tracked separately from the shop’s hours.
Moving to Next.js
The HTML version became a static Next.js site, with its own share image for every page.
What we used
- Next.jsfast static pages that index well
- Plain CSSa custom identity without fighting a UI framework
- Google Mapsdirections straight from a phone
- Prettierconsistent code for whoever maintains it
